Is ClearVocal free?
Try one anonymous preview per day, then sign in with Google for 3 previews per day. Upload previews process at most 30 seconds; microphone recordings are capped at 15 seconds. Network limits also apply and reset at midnight UTC. Paid subscriptions are not available yet.
Which file formats can I upload?
Video in MP4 or MOV and audio in MP3, M4A or WAV, up to 50 MB and 10 minutes long. Only the first 30 seconds are processed in the free beta. You get back cleaned dialogue, or a video preview with the cleaned audio track.
Will my video stay in sync?
Yes. We only replace the audio track and copy your video stream untouched, so lips stay frame-accurate — including variable-frame-rate phone footage.
What happens to my files?
Signed-in recordings, original uploads and cleaned previews have a private 7-day history. Anonymous previews expire after 24 hours. Access ends at expiry and files are queued for deletion; you can delete signed-in recordings sooner from your dashboard. Your files are only used to process your job.
Can I make the result sound less processed?
Yes. Each preview allows up to 5 Processing blend adjustments. Choose between gentler cleanup and stronger isolation, then click Apply. Both ends are processed audio. Stronger processing may change voice tone; background speech may remain. No re-upload is needed.
